1. Overview and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how AlphaGenixAI LLC ("we," "our," or "us") handles information within the ListBrain mobile application (the "App" or "ListBrain"). We are dedicated to providing a premium, intelligent memory-recall assistant with a strict, privacy-first, local-first design.

Unlike traditional apps, ListBrain does not require you to create an account, does not save any user profiles, and does not store any of your memory lists on our servers. Everything you create remains entirely on your own device.

2. Data We Process and Collect

To deliver a secure and private active recall training experience, ListBrain processes data in the following minimal categories:

  • User-Generated Memory Content (Local-Only): All lists, recall items, categories, scoring history, and settings are saved completely locally within the App's secure database sandbox on your device. We do not transmit, view, or store your lists on our servers.
  • AI Hint Requests (Transient): When you request an AI hint or categorization, the relevant item name is securely sent to our backend powered by Amazon Bedrock (Claude 3 Haiku). This request is processed transiently in temporary secure memory to generate your hint and is immediately discarded. We do not save, log, or use your items to train any AI models.
  • Device IDs and Ad Identifiers: To support server costs for free tiers, the App integrates with Google AdMob to show mobile ads. AdMob collects standard mobile telemetry (device model, operating system, IP address) and device advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Google's Advertising ID) to serve non-personalized or personalized advertisements. You can fully disable ad-tracking via your iOS or Android system settings.
  • No User Profiles or Logins: ListBrain requires absolutely no registration, email input, or login credentials. We do not build or save any user profiles.

3. How We Process and Use Your Information

We process local and transient data exclusively to:

  • Deliver the local active recall game mechanics and tracking metrics on your device.
  • Transmit temporary prompts to Amazon Bedrock to generate context-specific memory clues.
  • Display lightweight third-party ads through Google AdMob after you exceed the 10 ad-free lists threshold, unless you upgrade to the ad-free version.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your lists, device identifiers, or usage telemetry to third parties.

4. Third-Party Integrations and Processing

ListBrain interfaces only with highly secure, industry-leading platforms:

  • Amazon Bedrock (AI Processing): Runs inside a secure, private AWS environment in the United States. Your memory prompts are processed transiently and are never logged, stored, or used for model training.
  • Google AdMob (Advertising): Standard Device IDs and telemetry are used to present ads in the free tier under Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store: All ad-free premium upgrades are executed directly through secure native App Store in-app purchase systems. We do not collect or see your payment information.

5. Data Ownership and Deletion

Because your memory lists and test history stay 100% on your local device, you possess total data ownership:

  • Immediate Data Wipe: Deleting the ListBrain App from your device or using the "Clear All Local Data" function in the App's settings immediately and permanently purges all your custom lists and test history. Since we do not store this data on our servers, it cannot be recovered once deleted.
  • No Cloud Accounts to Delete: Because we do not require logins or store user profiles on our servers, there are no remote user accounts to delete.

6. Security

We employ strong HTTPS (TLS 1.3) encryption for transient AI backend requests, secure iOS/Android local database sandboxing, and minimal telemetry tracking to ensure your lists are completely safe from outside interference. We recommend keeping your mobile device updated and using passcode or biometric security to protect your locally stored database.

7. Children's Privacy

ListBrain does not collect personal identity parameters and is suitable for educational use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
